Intelligent Factory – As an industrial 4.0, it has implemented the vision of developing innovative factory systems. Its focus is on the research of intelligent production systems and processes, as well as the realization of networked distributed production facilities.
Intelligent production – mainly involves the whole enterprise’s production logistics management, human-computer interaction and the application of 3D technology in industrial production process. The plan will pay special attention to attracting SMEs to participate, and strive to make SMEs become users and beneficiaries of the new generation of intelligent production technology, as well as creators and suppliers of advanced industrial production technology.
Intelligent Logistics – Integrating logistics resources through the Internet, the Internet of Things and the logistics network, giving full play to the efficiency of the existing logistics resources suppliers, while the demand side can quickly obtain service matching and get logistics support.
Industry 4.0 presents a brand-new industrial blueprint: in an “intelligent and networked world”, Internet of Things and Internet of Services (Internet of Services) will penetrate into all key areas, the process of creating new value will gradually change, the division of labor in the industrial chain will be restructured, the traditional industry boundaries will disappear, and various new fields of activity and forms of cooperation will emerge.
Industry 4.0 in Pearl Magnetism Production Process
In the industrial 4.0 era, at Pierce’s headquarters plant, the production process of products changed:
(1) Robot manipulation: Some monotonous and repetitive tasks previously performed by human beings can now be supported by robots. In Pierce Magnets’factory, robots usually obtain shell components from a designated area, insert them into the laser shell, and transmit them to a specific location after the laser process is completed.
(2) Metal and plastic 3D printers: In the past, prototype shells were ordered from external suppliers. Sometimes the production schedule was affected by the product delivery problems of external suppliers. Now everything is very different. With the help of a 3D printer, you can print these shells on your own in just a few days. Because manufacturing time is very short, production has become more flexible and cost savings have been significant.
(3) Flying Needle Testing: Before, special adapters had to be made for each PCB on the printed circuit board in order to complete the electrical function testing. Now with the flying needle test, everything is simple. Any PCB can be tested with flexible programmable test probes, and the test results can be obtained in a very short time.
(4) Unmanned driving: Nowadays more and more vehicles without drivers are used in the production process, freeing up the labor force and allowing employees to engage more in creative work with higher added value.
